Content Policy & Acceptable Use

ashigen (the “Service”) is an adult, AI-powered anime illustration tool. This Content Policy governs what may be created with the Service. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By using the Service you agree to it.

1. All depicted characters are fictional adults

Every image produced by the Service is computer-generated. It depicts no real, identifiable human being. All characters are fictional adults aged 18 or older. Because the imagery is wholly AI-generated and portrays no actual person, it does not depict “actual sexually explicit conduct” by real performers, and the federal record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257 and 2257A do not apply. We nonetheless prohibit, detect, and block the content described in Section 3 and cooperate with law enforcement.

2. You are responsible for your prompts

You direct what is generated through the tags, prompts, options, and character models you choose. You are solely responsible for that input and for the resulting output, and for ensuring both are lawful where you live. Generated images are not stored by us (see the Privacy Policy); you are responsible for any copy you choose to keep.

3. Strictly prohibited content

The following are forbidden. Attempts are blocked, logged, and may result in immediate termination and, where required by law, reporting to the authorities (including, for child sexual abuse material, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children).

• Minors. Any sexualized, nude, or suggestive depiction of a minor, or any character that is childlike, prepubescent, or presented as under 18 — including “loli”/“shota” and equivalent styles, or age regression. AI-generated or “fictional/anime” is not a defense.
• Real people. Sexual, nude, or defamatory depictions of any real, identifiable individual (celebrities, public figures, or private persons), including deepfakes and look-alikes, without that person’s consent.
• Non-consent. Rape, sexual assault, or other non-consensual sexual content.
• Incest and content sexualizing family relations.
• Bestiality / sexual content involving animals.
• Content promoting, glorifying, or instructing in terrorism, self-harm, or other serious crime, and extreme gore.
• Any other content unlawful in the user’s or our operating jurisdiction.

4. Enforcement

We use automated prompt and model filtering, restrict the character-model catalog to vetted sources, log blocked attempts, and reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts and remove access at our discretion. Circumventing or attempting to circumvent these controls is itself a violation.
