ashigen respects intellectual-property rights and responds to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. Note that we do not store generated images; notices typically concern character models, reference material, or other content associated with the Service.
1. Filing a takedown notice
To report content you believe infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent (below) that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and enough information for us to locate it (e.g., URLs).
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

3. Counter-notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notification to the agent above including: your signature; identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your contact information and consent to jurisdiction as required by § 512(g).
4. Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
Note: Submitting a false claim may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees, under § 512(f).
