Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what ashigen (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to the ashigen website and Service. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

• Account & authentication — handled by our identity provider, Clerk (e.g., email address, login method, a user ID). We receive a user identifier and basic profile data.
• Billing — handled by our payment processor. We receive subscription/plan status and transaction identifiers. We do not store full payment-card numbers.
• Usage — your coin balance and ledger, the plan you hold, and generation metadata needed to run the Service. Prompt text is processed to fulfil your request and to enforce safety.
• Safety logs — when a request is blocked by our content rules, we record the matched term and the offending text, with your user ID and a timestamp, for moderation, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.
• Device/technical — IP address and standard server logs, and local browser storage we set (e.g., to remember your age confirmation).

2. Your generated content

Images and animations you generate are saved to your account’s private history so you can return to them across sessions. They are kept for up to 90 days and then automatically deleted; you can delete any item sooner from your history at any time. They are held in access-controlled storage and are not made public. Reference images you upload (for pose, enhance, or inpaint) are deleted after the job is processed. We do not store payment-card details.

3. How we use information

• To provide, operate, and secure the Service and process your generations.
• To handle subscriptions, coins, and billing.
• To enforce our Content Policy and prevent abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

4. Who we share with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, and as required by law:

• Clerk — authentication and billing management.
• Our payment processor — to take payments.
• RunPod — the GPU compute that renders your images (receives your prompt and any reference image for the duration of the job).
• Civitai — when you choose a character model, we fetch it from Civitai on demand.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers.
• Law enforcement or other parties where required by law, or to report unlawful content (e.g., child sexual abuse material).

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Retention

We keep account and billing records while your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, and security purposes. Safety logs of blocked attempts are retained for abuse prevention and legal compliance. Generated images are not retained.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact privacy@ashigen.io. We may need to verify your identity.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is strictly for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us so we can act.
