Questions artists ask
- Doesn’t this just help AI copy me?
- No. Your model never leaves ashigen’s servers, nobody can download it, and only your paying supporters can use it. Copies made elsewhere are made without you; this one is made by you and pays you.
- Is this really passive income?
- Yes, once it’s set up. Train your model and connect your page, and there’s nothing to run: supporters subscribe on your page as they do today, ashigen checks their access, and they create on their own.
- Can anyone download my models?
- No. Your model files stay on ashigen’s servers. Your supporters can create pictures with them on ashigen, but nobody — not even your supporters — can download the files.
- Does ashigen take a share of what my supporters pay me?
- No. Your supporters keep paying you directly on Patreon, SubscribeStar or pixivFANBOX, exactly as they do today. ashigen never receives that money and takes no percentage of it.
- How does ashigen make money, then?
- From the coins people buy for everything else they create on ashigen. The free generations your supporters get with your models are paid for by ashigen.
- What do my supporters get?
- Access to your models on ashigen. Supporters who pay you $3 a month or more also get 150 free generations with your models every month, paid for by ashigen.
- Can I stop?
- Yes, at any time: switch a model off in Settings → Artist, or disconnect your page. Your supporters lose access right away.
